Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about CHAOS Protocol — predictions, Cred, Ghost Slips, and the five game modules.

Getting Started

What is CHAOS?
CHAOS stands for Casino, Headhunters, Audit, Oracle, and Survivor. It's a meta-game layer that runs on top of your fantasy league to keep everyone engaged all season long - even if your team is dead.
How do I get started?
Connect your Yahoo Fantasy account and you're in. You'll receive 1,000 Cred to start making predictions, placing bounties, and entering pools.
What's the core promise?
"Creating Havoc Always On Schedule." Even if your fantasy team is eliminated, you can still create chaos for everyone else.

Cred & The Ledger

What is Cred?
Cred is the virtual currency used across all CHAOS modules. You use Cred to buy power-ups like Multipliers, Mulligans (second chances in Survivor), extra Oracle picks, and additional Headhunter bounties. Cred is also used for entering prediction pools in the Casino.
What is the Weekly Tax?
A weekly 50 Cred auto-deduction from your Cred wallet. This forces you to log in and play just to break even - keeping everyone engaged.
What happens if I run out of Cred?
Your commissioner can issue a "Stimulus" bailout. Or you can earn Cred through Zombie Mode in Survivor pools.
What is The Ledger?
The Ledger is the central bank of CHAOS. All transactions (predictions, bounties, prizes, taxes) flow through it, providing full transparency.

Casino Predictions

How does the Casino work?
We use a parimutuel system — all picks go into a pool, and winners split the pot based on their stake. There is no fixed line-setter. The less popular your pick, the bigger your payout if you're right!
What are Exotic Props?
Special props like "The Goose Egg" (a team scores under 50), "The Unicorn" (150+ points), and "Hero Ball" (one player scores 40% of team total).
What is the Jackpot?
A community pot funded by a small percentage of each losing entry. The season-end leader (or designated winner) takes the entire Jackpot.

Headhunters & Bounties

How do bounties work?
Pay Cred to place a "Hit" on another manager. If your target loses their matchup that week, you collect the bounty. If they win, you pay double.
What is Rivalry Week?
Special weeks where predictions are restricted to Head-to-Head matchups only. Time to settle scores.

Audit & Rankings

What is the Luck Matrix?
A scatter plot identifying "Frauds" (managers who are lucky) vs "Sleeping Giants" (managers who are unlucky). Your actual wins vs expected wins.
What is the Wall of Shame?
Public accountability for managers with unpaid league dues. Includes "WANTED" posters with glitch effects.
What is Roster DNA?
Visual breakdown of your points source: Draft picks vs Waiver Wire acquisitions.

Oracle Predictions

How does the pick'em work?
Each week, predict winners of every Fantasy Matchup. You earn fixed Cup Points (CP) for each correct pick — no pool splitting. Pure accuracy wins.
What do I win?
You earn Cup Points (CP) for each correct prediction — these count toward the C.H.A.O.S. Championship standings. Oracle is about accuracy, not luck-based. (Casino uses Cred for pool-based predictions.)

Survivor Pools

How does Survivor work?
Two tracks: (1) Pick one League Manager to win each week (no repeats), (2) Pick one NFL Team to win (no repeats). Get either wrong and you're eliminated.
What is Zombie Mode?
Eliminated players become "Zombies" and continue picking. Each correct pick earns 100 Cred for prediction pools. Stay engaged even after elimination!

Pricing & Tiers

What is the difference between Scout and Rookie tiers?
The Scout tier (Free) is for historical auditing only. It lets you import your last 3 seasons and see your "Shadow Money" score. The Rookie tier (Season Pass) is for active league management, unlocking all Chaos modules (Casino, Headhunters, etc.) for the live season.
What does "Lifetime Access" actually mean?
Lifetime Access refers to the operational lifespan of the C.H.A.O.S. platform. You pay once and never pay for that league again. We guarantee service for as long as the project remains commercially viable. In the unlikely event of project dissolution or bankruptcy, we will make every effort to provide a graceful exit or open-source the tool for community use.
Is my Lifetime Access transferable?
No. Lifetime Access is tied to the specific league ID it was purchased for. It ensures your legagy is preserved and your modules stay active forever for that community.
